Caroline Mahomar, a Palestinian/Egyptian Artist and Photographer raised in Honduras, now residing in the United States. Raised by immigrant parents in a chaotic developing country, her diverse upbringing led to the search for meditative visual aesthetics through mediums as painting, drawing, and photography creating meaning and beauty through the exploration of light and darkness.
Art Description
My artistic approach is a continuous exploration of portals in any dimension through texture, light, and darkness. As we navigate our current overabundance of information, technology, and our modern state of existence, I invite viewers to meditate and ask themselves: ‘What portal are you walking through today?’. This compels us to consider our daily intentions and how they affect our life’s journey.
